Description

Silica Fabrics have properties of resisting high temperatures of up to 1000°C for a long period of time, and 1700°C for a short time, and it is non-flammable. Suntex-1318 is a silica fabric coated with fire retardant silicone for industrial applications that require some properties of thermal protection and abrasion resistance.

It can be used in producing welding curtains/welding blankets/welding pads/fire retardant blankets, etc. These are extensively used in the factory, shipbuilding, ship repair workshop, and metal processing industries.

Specifications:

Silica cloth blanket, coated with silicone, resistant to heat up to +1649 DEG C(3000 DEG F);
Fitted with brass grommets on 4 sides at 305mm(12in.) centres;
With abrasion resistant coating;
Suitable for welding purposes and thermal insulation;
